Orchid Oasis on the Green is a stunning transformation of a traditional two-story Texas home, situated on a picturesque golf course. This project harmoniously blends modern lighting with a global aesthetic, creating an inviting and sophisticated space filled with collected art from around the world. The living room features custom drapes that ascend to the 20-foot ceiling, drawing the eye from the front foyer through the house to the breathtaking view of the golf course and a serene waterfall pool. Modern lighting fixtures add a contemporary touch, while the traditional fireplace has been faux-painted to resemble black iron, giving it an edgy flair. Custom shelves in the living room provide a perfect display space for an eclectic collection of vases and baskets. The powder bath is a vibrant highlight, hand-painted in a bold plaid pattern that exudes personality and charm. The staircase is a showstopper, transformed from ordinary to extraordinary with paint, black stain, and intricate trim work that flows up the wall, creating a seamless visual ascent. A neutral base of beige, cream, and white is punctuated with touches of black, providing a sophisticated backdrop for vibrant pops of color found in the home's extensive art collection.
